For me, fall is the ultimate season of change. The beginning of September ushers our kids back to
school, while the end of the month begins a turning of the leaves. A welcome chill sets in and the
jackets come on. All in all, I love it, and so does my family.

And while we’re on the subject of change, if you’re thinking of making an even bigger life change
(ahem, moving) fall might just be the right time to do it. While spring is still thought of as the
most popular time to list, there are advantages to listing in the fall, according to a recent
article by The Motley Fool. One such advantage? Lack of competition (due to fewer homes on the
market). This could enable you to list your home for a higher price, especially if your market
consists of at least one buyer who needs to move immediately.
